Do you charge if the tenant isn't in it doesnt answer the door on a landlord gas safety check?
I don't do many of them but just wasted 30 minutes ringing the door bell and calling the landlord.
No answer!!

Yes call out charge

I don't turn up to ANY job unless someone at the property actually answers the phone. Has saved me more money than customers I've lost.

I didn't have a contact number
Apparently the door bell is broken

No I don' t charge for it cost of running a business. No different than restaurants having table booked and they don' turn up.

However once you get access do your cert but inform them need new vessel get your money back lol

I went back to do it today.
Vaillant pro 24 and its a bit neglected
Going to insist it has a full service next year and add a few ££ on

Always phone first saves a wasted trip . kop
This time of year they might be in the garden so not hear the phone and have left a note on the front door "Come through the side gate" etc.
I get a lot of this but the company say`s we still have to attend and leave paperwork to show we attended then the visit is chargeable.
