So my mate has a Bosch Multitool

Maybe 10.8v? Not sure in that, defo not 18v

Saw him using it & I wasn't that impressed

Anyone have a battery one that's good?

I know people are Fein fans.

Just thought I'd ask

Thx

The green Bosch is a Fisher Price toy, all its power goes into vibrating the body rather than the blade.

Corded Fein for me...

Went from a a worx to a fein, the difference is night and day, mains all the way for tools like this.

It's the same with almost any tool, mains is best and the one to go for if you know you will always have a power supply.

Haha, yes defs mains... Although there have bee a few occasions when I have thought if I had a cordless one I would go get it, bit I can't be assed getting the lead etc!

The Bosch is like a big giant green vibrating ***** - I just have no idea what to do with it. Everytime I use it I feel abused. It scares me truth be told

The corded fein is a beast. I wouldn't go battery on a tool like this. Mines 5 or 6 years old now. In need of new brushes and the speed controllers duff. Can get cheaper blades online. But you get what you pay for.

Are you sure it has brushes? I have the Fein corded tool and think it is a brushless motor, hence why it is supposed to last well.

Aye. Had them out to make sure I could replace them.

I will settle the argument of cheap blades vs Fein right now and say in the long run the Fein ones work out cheaper.
I've just bought 10 assorted fein blades and use the hard edge 65mm ones for most things, the new model 350w Fein is brilliant with them.

I have wasted a fortune of cheap ebay blades, saxton, shark etc, they are blunt really quickly.

How long does yours last (cheap blades I linked) last about a month on rubbish wood etc

It depends on usage but I've had the same 65mm blade in for the last three bathroom jobs as well as loads of other uses.....I think I put blade in around September time.

Just seen a late night advert for the Worx Sonicrafter, it says it cuts twice as fast as the competition.

Well i'm sold! Its half the price of the Fein.

Worx is Micky mouse tools for DIYers, I had a word drill once that was pants!

BOSCH 10.8v and 18v it's all I use. And multi tool is perfectly perfect.

Picked up my new Bosch multitool today... It's really good, very smooth :)

I think BOSCH is the best out there. My 10.8v hammer drill is so unique. 10mm chuck and works through the high and low . Had it three years now and it's the best. Worked hard Keep it in my toolbag . Ideal candidate lady's handbag. Just keep me eyes peeled they won't nick it off me if seen..

All professional blue 10.8v 110 18v 230v

I have two of those little 10.8v bosch hammer drills and the angle drill. One of them got a little bit of water on it from a rad I'd just took off and it killed the variable speed function.

And radio to listen to the new x factor number one this year.
