Has anyone ever been on a job where split ring hangers were prohibited in the specs?

If customer specifier has preference they tell you what you must use, not what you mustn't use. Sometimes the cust will say "we don't want plastic clips on show" .

It’s a government job and nobody seems to know why…typical I guess
