After many times struggling with the brass lead locks shaving off lead to make them fit making pipe weaker - used a philmac utc double end today life was so much easier but some as van stock
 
used to use a lot of lead locks, but now i shy away fm plumbing in favour of servicing n repairs so still got some brass lead locks somewhere in the van.
