I'm still alive.

A few faces have left

Same faces that hate and had me blocked from most groups on Facebook

@Ray Stafford did you have anything to do with me getting banned?

Mark Daniel seems to have it in for me

What's gone on here Simon?
Some people wanted to leave therefore contacted Dan. He said if they would like to go he would not stop him. They also asked him to take the badges of them but only if they pm him privately and not on an open thread.

People over here take too damn serious. I guess we are all old enough to sort things out in normal manner and not bitching around behind someone's back, especially not in an adult age. Most people are between 30-50 so no point of winging around.

Whatever happen in the past they must have had an issue for long and now it escalated so people went different ways.

That's all I know

*Tips hat to you sir

What Facebook groups do you refer too? Iv never found any decent ones... even the ukplumbingforum Facebook page has nothing on it or maybe I'm doing it wrong??

If you look for ukplumbersforums on Facebook we reset it last night in line with the new forum.

Yes obviously something up somewhere. My last comment on the issue before moving on.
The group of lads in question posted a lot of useful info in the past that would have been great reference material.

So why has it all been deleted?

The content is still on the forum.

Aye, had a bit more of a poke. Hadn't realised, thought it was gone but just under different names. But the names can be seen if they have been quoted.

Like I said would have been a shame to lose that info.

Cheers.

Happy to help :)

Hi all, I'm installing a concrete patio out back. By the wall under the kitchen sink I have an existing P-Trap gully for the grey water from the sink, dishwasher, washing machine etc. When I pour the concrete there won't be any chance to dig it up anymore. From my own research I get the...

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...

Hello all, I'm would like to extend an existing outside tap to another point in the garden. I'm about to pour a concrete patio and was hoping to run the water line underneath. There are existing drain (and who knows what) pipes running along the same wall so I'm nervous about digging too far...

Copper pipes, I think its fair to say, is not what it used to be, the copper is getting thin while the cost is going up. Meanwhile, plastic Pushfit seems to be getting better and better, cost and convenience was always better, but now the quality is to, have we reached a stage where plastic will...
