hi guys,

I have seen long time ago at plumbase a heat absorber while soldering, it was a red mastic ball or something similar.
However, does anyone remember what to call it ?

Kind regards
Ron

Thank you Shauni,
I definitely meant this product. Just forgot what the name was.

Personally I can't see a use for it. A damp flannel or something similar has always worked a treat for me.

I am not saying it doesn't work surely it does. I am just wanting to remind a mate about it.

And if the water is off/system drained you have to wet it from your own water bottle or dunk it in the crapper
