Hi all

New here!! I hope this is the correct section to ask this question. I have got a replacement second hand cooker but the hose connected to it appears to be a different design to the old bayonet cap hose and fitting I have. This new hose will not connect to the old wall connector.

I will get a gas safe engineer to connect this but wanted to now if this means they will have to install a new connector at the wall end or if new pipework will be need (I needed new thicker pipework for my condenser boiler).

FYI the new cooker is a freestanding Leisure Rangemaster 55. Will it function as well if the gas engineer were to use the old style hose so no change to wall connection?

Picture of my old style hose can be found on toolstation site product id 44723 (think these are called Micropoint connectors).

Many thanks in advance.

That's an easy fix for a gas safe engy
