Was called to one of these on friday.... giving an intermittent fault..... so i had a look and figured that it worked fine when the panel was open but cut the boiler off when it was lifted half way up.....it was like a trapped/broken wire....no matter how much i tugged or pushed on all the wires individually when it was running nothing would stop it.....moved all the wires where they are clamped....but still the same..... as soon as i lifted the front panel off it went....drop it down and fraction and away it went.... its a head wrecking fault and have gone over all wires half a dozen times.... checked all connections and on the pcb board... is it possible it could be a dry joint on the pcb board or has anyone ever had similar???:banghead:

dry joint one answer. have another look at your wires as a broken cable is quite common. Is power going totally, which would indicate a main input wire or is it partial failure ie some power getting through, sorry not to be more helpful

Not easy to check..... as power only shuts off when u half close or fully close front panel.....once you drop it down to check it starts up and runs away!!!

Spoke with ferolli tech today.... and they seem to think its an air problem..... replace the venturai's and check the seal on the fan to the "pot"....
