Can any one give me the make of the best diamond core drill. i need a new one soon and dont know the best one to get:rolleyes:

Hilti are the best, but don't come cheap. Make sure that you get the correct bits for the material that you will be drilling.

Marcrist make the best core bits the 850 range the redshark bits are best expensive but they are worth every penny. I put mine through a 4" wall and then through some structural cast steel rebar channel without damaging the core i think it might have even sharpened it a tad :).
Amakita core drill is more than capable for everyday plumbing holes up to 165mm soilpipe joints. Makita 8406 - 850W 152mm Diamond Core Drill

Hi. I need a new toilet supply line but don’t know the size type of the fitting at the shut off valve. It is not 3/8 compression. It is a plastic nut about the same size as the one going into the cistern but has a different thread. Attached is a photo. Can you advise. Thanks.

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...
