New !! , its been like this for ages lol

Check the integrity of the flue a full strip down and service is needed and retest , if that does not result in a lower ppm then contact Baxi technical what was the co/co2 ratio? Cheers Kop

Dan or lou move this to the GSR only forum please

Thanks guys.
So as i said, took burner out and cleaned heat ex as it was full of crud, replaced gasket which is rubber not graphite then retested. Ratio was then at about 10.8 % and ppm was up 200 which was well lower than before cleaning out. Adjusted the gas valve to Mi to 8.4% +- 2 and now boiler is burner perfect. Happy days

Don't think you need to change the seal unless damaged on these.

11 on top of a your service price is alot when your competing on price with very cheap prices.

After his wife overheard the conversation which resulted in a new boiler and how dangerous the thing was, I think he would have taken his chances and been safer :D

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Hi, I seemed to have a blockage in kitchen sink. A plumber came and cleared all the pipework that is visible inside my home (there was debris and pebbles!) We saw that the pipe that takes water down the gutter was visibly full to the top. He said he will return with a coil to push through...
