Discuss Assistance with an issue I have with a toilet float valve? in the UK Plumbing Forum | Plumbing Advice area at PlumbersForums.net

I have moved into a property and amongst several other issues, the toilet float valve appears to keep getting stuck and therefore prevented from filling.

I am unsure what type of float valve I have.

Each time I push the top part of the float (pictured on the left) it then starts to fill.

I am really confused as I have bought a float valve (£26) from B&Q and it doesn’t fit in the toilet so will need to buy another one as the packaging has been destroyed.

Can anyone please help me with this. I have attached an image.

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...
