Is it for long gas runs where sections are isolated and cannot be charged from the meter but from test points installed on the individual legs? Could be useful

Thats a good idea, Didnt thnk of it like that... I was thinking more for first fixing new builds etc.

I've got one I use for testing new LPG pipework as they should be air tested before being tested with gas. Also handy for testing a new extension before making the final connection to the existing carcase.

i used the regin ones at college the pump forever knackers on them, not great quality imo but a good idea.

Ive got one, used to run a large site on plumbing side. Gas carcass's where air tested and signed off then floating floor was layed. Dont use it anymore mind
