Just had a new customer having a problem with her boiler Worcester 38cdi showing fault code C6 boiler installed 2012 December saying it's out of warranty not a Worcester man myself so any advice would be very helpful before i pop round to have a look.

Fan speed too low / not running

Thanks for the quick reply is it straightforward fan swap just getting in to fault finding on boilers what's the next steps I should be taking. Once again thanks for your time

Wow that font is extreme pal!! :D

Have to confirm its the fan first and not a control problem eg pcb etc

Follow the fault line diagram in the back of the mis

C6 is a fan fault, if you are just getting into boiler repairs , get multi-meter ready , ring Worcester Tec & they will talk you through what you need to do, have phone on hands free so that you can use probes when testing

Im sure memory serves me right it should be 240 across black n purple on the wb fan cdi, very easy to replace if its the fan, and theyre common for going after a period of time,

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...

Every two weeks or so I have to go and top up the system because the hot taps are running cold. Boiler display is flashing 0.6 bar and I fill up to 1.3. I've had an engineer look inside the boiler and he can't see anything wrong. I've checked the pipes all over the house and cannot see any...

Hi all I'm hoping someone can shine a light on this for me Since our stop tap on the pavement has now been filled with sand for whatever reason, we are relying on our property fitted stopcock (this is outside on our garage wall) Unfortunately turning this to the closed position only reduces...
