These are the actual City & Guilds Task manuals given to you at college to complete your qualifications. Handy if you are new and want to take a peak at what you will be doing or if you are on the course already and need to print a page you messed up in your work folder.

The Tech Cert Level 2 is here to download: -

And the tech Cert level 3 is here: -

NVQ 2 is here: -

NVQ 3 is here: -

Hi, Do you have any notes or documentation on what I can expect when i go and start my 6129 level 2 in jan?

I am starting from scratch and would love to be ahead of the game a little.

Thanks

Hie does 6128 have c & g level 3 then NVQ level 2 and 3 like the 6129, do u know . If it does which one is better .

Apparently 6128 is only a small portion of the 6129 course so I was informed when I done 6129

thanx so much at list i can make a decision before i start . I have been always considering doing the 6129 , its only that most colleges offer 6128 . Now i have to look for those that offer 6129. Thanx wants again.

Hi glasgow guy
It takes a few months to get you're folder returned.

Spent weeks doing "Leadwork , bossing and welding" back in the day for my C&G Never even touched it in 18 years.... why do they still have it as part of the port..

Interesting reading though..

Hello

I wanted to know why is it that the NVQ Level 2 is achieved even without key/functional skills. I know lots of people with functional skills who are qualified plumbers

thanks

Aqua, these were obviously very helpful for those embarking on the training. I am looking at doing this in the near future, do you have a link for the 6189 C&G Cert lvl 2 and the NVQ Lvl 2 Diploma as well.

Many thanks Bobby

I had a look on the City & Guilds website but have not found the documents for the new diploma. I'll ave a look in every now and again. I have gone commercial now though so will be looking more at mechanical qualifications and getting into HVAC and the like.
