Is someone stealing my game ;)

Too close to an air vent and too close to an internal corner, I reckon.

how does that work then....!!!!!!...?

The boiler are located on a wall going further in to building. The flues then have extensions to out side wall. Is my guess

Have you got a copy of 6644?

Hand on heart mate I would have to say No/not sure. I came away with a big file of stuff after training but haven't refrenced them for this particular picture ... MI's quote 5440, but as you know that's up to 70kW and these in question or 80kW.

The top flue has its grill missing on the exhaust part of the flue?

Yep BS 5440 ... What 6644 says I'm sure SimonJohns can fill us in on :) I hope!

Installation is only a cupl of years old..!

I haven't for 6644 to hand. Will update you when I'm home

I'm with the outlaws atm

*i havent got

Desrob got it right.
Terminals should be 1500mm apart vertical.
They can be 300mm apart side by side.

In reality it wouldn't make much difference but the poc's from the lower boiler could be drawn in the intake of the upper.

Chheres mate... I know Commercial installs get away with a lot more but I'd be interested to know if my bringing this to the attention of the owners was correct or not ... I erred towards AR but end of the day NCS'd coz, my reasoning, with fanned flues I think the BS bunch are behind the times *shrug*

I'll open that one for debate :)

Just looked up BS6644 and it points you to IGE-UP-10 which states in 8.7.3.2

"The position of the termination of any chimney shall be such as not to affect
adversely the operation of any adjacent chimney or air inlet system."

and in 8.7.3.3

"Where more than one appliance flue terminates vertically on the face of a wall,
they shall be at least 1 m apart."

Hope that helps.
