We have a Worcester 18/25 oil boiler that is about 2-3 years old and regularly serviced. We used the shower earlier on today and then about 3 hours later we had no water or heating. Boiler is not locked out and have used both reset buttons the boiler clicks when you ask the heating and hot water to come on but does nothing else. Have turned it of and on and still nothing. Can anyone shed any light before we get an engineer out. The pressure is also still were it normally is. Thanks in advance.

Tell us about your timing controls/ programmer - is it built into the boiler or separate?

It is separate wireless unit we haven't got any programmes set just put it on as we need it and hot water is as we use it it heats it. Thanks.

You will need an engineer who needs to trace whether you are getting a live feed to the boiler or burner etc. If you have tried the lockout and overheat resets and the system is up to pressure then you can do no more. It could be a sticking ch pump as well.

Sounds like a daft question, but have you checked the batteries in your wireless unit? Where is the wireless receiver, does that show a green or red light on it?

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
