True sign of an amateur IMO

The cards are the wrong size

2mm one side, 6mm the other?

Hang on, there isn't a standard size, so how are they amateur?

What is the standard size?

It seems to be 85 × 55mm, some of TMSprint are not ot that exact standard either, it is hardly amateur, although i do not use them myself.

Vistaprints normal business cards are to this exact standard though

Yes there is a British standard card size. Vista prints cards do not follow that format. Meaning that their cards do not usually fit a standard card holder or wallet

damm it! That's why the work dried up!
