1st fix of a house upstiars left pipes up for radiators.
they were left up ok just a bit of maybe 1/4 to 1/2 and inch off, have got them straight and they look 100% expect for the hole around the pipe in the floor.

anyone any ideas on how to fill the hole round the pipe to leave a more professional job, talking to one plumber and he uses gripfill and just fills round the pipe and then wipes away and it leaves it looking a1. it just MDF floor boards.

and other ideas.

i know what some may some measure twice cut one 1

Wouldn't worry too much - it's going to be carpeted, after all. You'll know to do the "measuring twice" bit next time :p

will try the gripfill was talking to a joiner, he said fill with gripfill then wipe to even it out.
that will do the job/

will show the finished result
