Spent a very nice long weekend with sister on her canal boat around Leeds and I`ve just worked out the mpg for the 516 miles round trip at 51.6 mpg, the journey there was a painful 6.5 hrs at an average of 38.5 mph and the return trip took 4hrs with average speed of 62.5 mph. Considering I was running at 85mph a lot of the time coming back I`m impressed with those figures.

Thats not bad mpg , is yours 1.6 or 2.0. . You should have called in lol

It`s the 1.6 and in my mind it`s the one to have. Honestly Jon there was yourself and another who I had thought of maybe meeting up with but figured time was against the idea. Maybe next time eh!

Yep mines the 1.6 , and yes they are great. Meet up next, i will take you for a blast in the cobra .

I carry my own clubs :)

I'm here all week :)

Seriously though, I have my mileage info on my dash. It gives me number of miles to empty, I always try to beat it. I drive much more efficiently.

I've got a 1.6 caddy also, on a run it will easily do 50mpg, mines remapped to 140bhp to :smug2:

Every two weeks or so I have to go and top up the system because the hot taps are running cold. Boiler display is flashing 0.6 bar and I fill up to 1.3. I've had an engineer look inside the boiler and he can't see anything wrong. I've checked the pipes all over the house and cannot see any...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Hello all, I'm would like to extend an existing outside tap to another point in the garden. I'm about to pour a concrete patio and was hoping to run the water line underneath. There are existing drain (and who knows what) pipes running along the same wall so I'm nervous about digging too far...

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...
