Do gas fired storage combi boilers store the water at high temperatures like say 75C? and if so do they have a internal TMV?. when the storage runs out presume they then just carry on like any combi boiler?. Do they allways store DHW and not primary water?. Oil fired combis probably are all storage type otherwise they couldnt flow low DHW flowrates since they can't modulate and store primary water like the one below, the also generally specify the total vol of HW available until storage depleted and presumably can then continue sypplying DHW as normal.

You can set the temp to what you want mines set to 65

Yes once the store is depleted normal combi but that would be a long time before it depleted as it’s still heating the water through

Yes basically just a super pre heat

Yes oil combis use a primary heat store then through a plate to plate

No once there’s no more heat in the store no hot water but as above the boiler is always heating more
