Split pins

This probably sounds mad , but i want a couple of split pins to use on the handle mechanism of a wc cistern the ones that stop the handle from moving back and forth.
They are the minute ones , where do you get them as i keep drawing a blank in fact i am keeping one going with a hair grip and its doing a fine job . cheers mark
