i have wondered if you should solder next to TRV's some time. but i always do anyway and it never seems to cause a problem.
one thing to look out for is if the pipe goes into a wall to check it doesn't move about to the extent the suggests pushfit very close by
tbh ive done it within 2 inches (push fit) was close but fine
living life on the edge :lol:

its rated for heating so will be fine
