Hi. I recently had a renovation done. My builder installed a new Combi boiler instead of my system boiler. He connected the pipework to the digital pump. He did not inform us that we would need a new processor because we had changed to a Combi and subsequently a valve blew. Should my builders plumber informed us before doing the work. It has cost me £500 for Aqualist to install a new processor

He should of made you aware of you had any shower pumps or digital then these would need to be upgraded / replaced

Can I ask how many bathrooms you have as combi boilers are only really for one outlet at a time where as a cylinder you could do a couple depending on you tank etc

Hi.
I only have one bathroom. I recently moved to a bungalow and was seriously in need of storage. So I opted for a Combi boiler so we could make use of the cylinder cupboard and the extra loft space.

That’s perfect then 👍

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
