Hi all, hope it's ok to post this here?

Experts work from home, taking video calls from our customers and diagnosing home repair issues. Where they can, they offer a solution - where they cannot, they book a home visit.

Technicians are our team on the road, visiting customers and repairing more complex issues or where parts are needed.

Maybe it would suit you or someone you know? Click the links above and get in touch!

One of the worst things that you can do is giving technical advise to people over an open link, they will mess around with items they know nothing about, thinking they will save money, and possibly putting themselves & others at risk, than when the crap hits the fan it will land back on your doorstep ! saying well they told me to do it, Why do you think we don't give information about gas related questions.

You couldn't have said it better ...

Hi guys, to be clear we don't provide gas or electrical directions over the call. In such situations Experts are trained to advise the home owner does not touch it, and book a home visit (the Technician side of the workflow).

Video calls are to diagnose, and to identify next steps more than anything else.

From your own website

"Boiler on the blink? Washing machine in a spin? Lights left you in the dark? Not sure how to stop it getting worse or what to do? Give DAD a call."

"So far we have helped people with boilers that won’t behave, sinks that don’t drain, and electrics with a life of their own. What needs fixing in your home? What has gone kaput in your home?"

And what do you charge for any information given by video link ? and what training do your experts get ? are they fully qualified trades people, or someone reading from a DIY book

Again, taken from your own website,

"We`ll do our very best to put it right or your money back."

Doesn`t exactly inspire confidence in your Technicians workmanship and how do you prove the customer isn`t lying to get refunded.

I`m out!
