Hi
Rebuilding some old kitchen taps but cannot ID the part in the end of the spout. They have broken and I need replacements, anyone help?

It's simply an interference fit flow straightener.

The walls of the tap body are cast so flow goes all over if not controlled. Today's versions are plastic and screw or push in.

Perhaps you might consider using a plastic version and somehow sticking it place. Just be very cautious about what you use as it is both illegal & potentially hazardous to health to use the wrong substance.

Personally if making one I'd use A4 stainless.
