Discuss Rad not heating up upstairs. 16 rads in the Central Heating Forum area at PlumbersForums.net

A rad was moved to the other corner of the spare room with plastic 1/2 inch pipes and lagging. It hasn't heated up since. There is 16 rads on this system and every rad on this system heats up apart from this rad.

I've tried to balance it all out however still nothing! I've even turned off all valves on all rads and only opened this rad and still nothing. There's water getting coming from the bleed valve but not heating up. Very strange this isn't heating up. Does anyone know what it could be. This is supplied by an oil burner and multifuel stove.

Is one pipe flow and one return?
I’ve sorted this problem for someone where they had inadvertently got the return going to both ends of the rad, due to teeing into existing pipework incorrectly.

The rad was taken of the wall, both Alves removed. The pipe coming up the floor where removed from the elbows. New pipes where connected to the elbows and the 2 pipes continued on to the other side of the room over the joists behind a void then up to both sides of the rad.
