Alright chaps,

Looked through old threads re public liability insurance and all i could find were dated 2010 - 2012 so a little out dated!! I was last self employed about 6/7 years ago and i remember it being about 300 quid back then for 2 million cover.

Can anyone recommend cheapest places to get cover. I am looking at 2 million cover with 1000 tool cover approx.

At a glance, first quote i got via comparethemarket.com for AXA was £43 a month. Is this the going rate these days?

A thousand thank you's, in advance.

I got mine last month and it was 2 mill and £2000 tool cover for gas & heat works for £363 from tradesman saver that was cheapest I could get

I'm with Corgi insurance. £370 including 2k tools cover. Also I know some other guys on here who have had to make a claim with then and they've been good as gold.

currently with Thistle, might have changed from Insuranz.
used Corgi as well, all worth trying for a price

I'm with direct line, it's £360 but I can't remember if it's 1 or 2 mil cover. They were cheapest overall at the time, it's up next month so I'll be keeping an eye on this.

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...
