hi guys

just a quick question just been round to my mates house and he said the boiler is working fine until he switches he's heating off then the pressure goes to zero. its discharging out of the PRV. my first thought was to fit an external expansion vessel on the return as I'm not gas safe. any ideas would this sort the problem.

many thanks Dom

if it wont hold pressure no point in fitting a ev, first call need to sort the pressure loss which means you need to be gas safe

it holds pressure its fine while the heating is on as soon as you turn it off the pressure drops.
