Hello,
I need some advise, will greatly appreciate if someone can help. My mixer tap is leaking from base want to renew it. However the tap cold/hot water feed is connected via connectors/fittings as shown in attached picture. Can anyone please advise how to disconnect tap from these fittings as these don’t tend to have any nut. which can be un-tightened? Any place i can buy these fittings online?

I’ll wager it’s ring with some prongs like all the others!
Can improvise with three little screwdrivers on most types but it’s fiddly- just buy the correct demounting tool if you need to remove them. They are pushfit fittings by the way.
Personally I’d just cut it and replace with something you can get locally.

Marley Equator Demount tool in 15mm seem to be out of stock everwhere 10, 22, 28 are available but of no use.
Some suppliers on Ebay have some stock of new fittings.

This is what they look likeEquator tool.PNG.
They also seem to be sold in packs of 10 so are probably easilly broken

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Hi, I seemed to have a blockage in kitchen sink. A plumber came and cleared all the pipework that is visible inside my home (there was debris and pebbles!) We saw that the pipe that takes water down the gutter was visibly full to the top. He said he will return with a coil to push through...
