Pipe clips with extensions.

Hi guys just a quickie here. Many times I come accross this problem where doing surface pipework I like to get all pipework neatly clipped but on searching for clips that petrude further than others doesn't seem to come up with much.. Up until now I just use the talon clips along with talon spacers , and sometimes the brass 2part clips. If you use the talon ones with 2 or 3 spacers it can become less rigid.however there's bound to be better means of doing this. I just wondered if anyone new of either adjustable clips or something similar. Or what does everyone else use?? Cheers guys . Kris

Use lined clips. Protects tube. Use talon 2 deep. In garages to get insulation on[emoji300]️[emoji300]️[emoji300]️[emoji300]️[emoji300]️

But do like school board clips as well.

Don't bother with clips. Slap the insulation on and gaffa tape back to the wall. Saves all that nasty drilling.

If you're using munsens with female backplates, put 2 M10 nuts on your threaded bar and tighten one against the backplate and one against the ring. Makes them really solid otherwise if its above 50mm they wobble.

In an airing cuboard or garage, you could use 2"x1" p.a.r. timber screwed level to the walls with just a few screws.
Then you can screw talon clips where you need them directly onto the timber with a cordless drill without having to drill & plug walls for each individual clip.
The distance out from wall could then be varied & will then let you solder joints & fit bulky valves no problem & fit insulation.
