Discuss Non-condensing boiler in the Gas Engineers Forum area at PlumbersForums.net

Hi All, Hoping for some words of wisdom from people in the know! I am in a flat with a shared flue system. Currently have a 22year+ old Valiant non-condensing combi boiler fitted. Increasingly needing repair and struggling to find parts. The flat fits the exemption criteria for installing another (newer) non-condensing boiler. The problem is, I can't find one anywhere!! Have found out that the latest models are Worcester 24 and 28 junior and Baxi 105e non-condensing models. Question is- anyone know of one available or where to search other than ebay or have one lying around a storeroom somewhere? Any advice on if we are on a hiding to nothing and should instead pursue electric boiler options...? Thanks in advance! 😊

You can’t get them need to upgrade to the newer condensing ones

Hi Shaun, Thanks for your reply- as stated we can only install a non-condensing one due to the shared flue system in the flats. Therefore condensing not possible and we fit the exemption criteria to allow us to install a non-condensing one (if we can find one!)
