Probably best to replace. A T4R is the recommended Honeywell replacement.

If you're feeling lucky, people have claimed success at restoring CM921 displays by putting them in a sealed bag of rice and leaving in a warm airing cupboard for a few days. The rationale is that the CM921 display is hydroscopic and not properly sealed so humidity does the damage but it's reversible.

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
