I had my combi boiler serviced in June. I had to call the engineer back the next day because he left me without hot water. He came and fiddled for two minutes with something under the base of the boiler - and my hot water was restored.

Now with the cold weather approaching I've just tried to turn on my central heating for the first time. The boiler fires up and runs perfectly, but the radiators remain stone cold. They all have individual thermostats fitted and I also have a remote room thermostat. All thermostats are turned up. The remote is configured correctly and shows the 'demand heat' symbol. The pressure gauge is in the green, so I'm guessing the problem I'm having with the radiators is the same as the one I had with my hot water. Rather than call out the engineer again I'd like to fix the issue myself. I've downloaded the instruction manual and wonder if the CH Flow valve is the culprit.

Can anyone tell me how to operate it - or advise on what else might be stopping my radiators from working?

Many thanks

It's probably something simple but you be best advised to call your engineer back as guessing will only waste your money.

The boiler fires up and runs perfectly? Where is the heat going then...?

Afraid you can't do anything with that boiler. Removing the case is illegal unless you are a GSR.

We cannot and will not give advice on the installation or repair of boilers, cookers or ANY gas appliances for your own safety.

Please go to Gas Safe Register | Ensure your gas engineer is registered. or post a thread in the 'I'm looking for a plumber / gas engineer' section of these forums remembering to include your location. [DLMURL="http://www.ukplumbersforums.co.uk/im-looking-plumber-gas-engineer/"]I'm looking for a Plumber or Gas Engineer[/DLMURL]

If you are gsr please increase your post count to 10+ then send a PM (Private Message) with your gsr details to either Gas man - http://www.ukplumbersforums.co.uk/users/8668/ or Redsaw - http://www.ukplumbersforums.co.uk/users/2718/ who will check you and then give you access to the gsr private forum.

Providing gas-related advice to anybody who should not be touching gas and cannot prove their competetence is unacceptable. We will take whatever action we deem appropriate to prevent such advice being given

Thank you.
