The member with an apple in his mouth (moniker) has one, sorry can't remember. Mike something.
I took the chuck off mine and got an adapter which threads straight on to the cores or core extension bars. No more chuck tightening.I've got a Makita, the only moan I have with it is I need to punch up the chuck after each skin of brick. If I don't it works loose and makes a right mess of the arbour.
It doesn't take too much punishment; probably quite similar to jonny, maybe 2-3 cores a week on average between 1 1/2" - 6". I've had it for at least six years and still going strong (fingers crossed).
