Sharp Point

Got a 'doc m' pack to fit soon in a working mens club, the hot is being supplied via a wall hung water heater, the type being fed by a little cistern above, the height of the water level is approx 2m above floor level and the tmv for the new wash basin will be approx 1.5m below water level. and to add another spanner in the works, the cold is off cold mains. Is there a tmv on the market that will work with this set up.

cheers

no the only way is prv down to same out pressure as r25

Even with prv it probably won't work you have 0.15 bar hot water don't think you can get cold through prv down enough, I have just taken out exactly the same set up from community centre because all they ever got was cold water.

they do work thats all one comp have been doing round here, the only other option is use of an ariston mains water heater

I'm taking a brand new one of these out next week! Your welcome to it mate!

A spark wired it in with a 3 pin plug about 300mm away and below the basin!!

Thanks for the replies, I knew it'd be touch and go as to whether a low head/ unbalanced tmv would be possible. I have notified the builder, that'd he's probably going to have to get an unvented set up.
