Sorry for such a rubbish thread.

Need to replace the bath in my house, don't want anything fancy. It's a rented house but my gf broke it so we have to pay. Does anyone know where I can get a very cheap bath in Kent?

Tried ebay but can't find anything.

Nobody you know taking one out?

You anywhere near Rays mob, Williams? Could give them a try.

Just seen screwfix do a bath for ÂŁ79 probably the cheapest i'm going to find.

How did the current one break? I had to fit a cast iron bath in mine, the mrs was denting all the pressed steel ones we had previously.

Where the bath is against the wall there are a couple of small mirrors, after 1 too many BEFORE going out she stood in the bath with high heels to check her make up and the heel went straight through. LOL

Luckily it's at the back end so with a container under the bath and sticking to showering not too much gets through but it looks bad and shouldn't take too long to put one in. won't be too bothered about quality it's not exactly a palace anyway.

Could try eBay, I saw a lot of bargain baths on there recently, if you find one local that you can collect you may get a steal. I ended up using B and Q trade point paid about ÂŁ90 or ÂŁ100 but seen some real bargains that were too far to travel to collect.

Are you going to re-use taps, waste, trap and panel? This cost me an extra ÂŁ100 or so, it was for a customer though, I ended up charging ÂŁ330 to supply and fit so made over ÂŁ100.

Same for me seeing plenty of bargains on ebay but nothing local. Will give williams a call tomorrow if I remember just got in from work so i'm sure it can wait. :)

fill the hole with some cataloy and bridge the underside with some mesh or fibre tape.
once dry, rub it down with wet & dry sandpaper , then touch up with white paint.
cost you next to nothing

Hi all, My partner and I recently bought a house and have been attempting to make the bathroom less fugly. I was removing the bath and shower taps to replace, but while removing the bath spout (which had no nut to undo), the threaded section of the pipe broke. I thought the bit that broke must...

Hi there, I am hoping someone can give me some advice. We have had two leaks at home in the last 2 weeks; luckily we were in for both events and managed to get the water turned off pretty quickly so it is not a massive catastrophe. Both times, a fitting popped off a pipe about 15 minutes after...

We have just moved in to a 1934 Semi- and I am getting round a few simple DIY tasks, including a couple of plumbing-part renewals such as modern pipe/u-bend/fittings to kitchen sink, rinse sink etc as preventative maintenance! Nothing complex or specialist, that's for you expert guys! But in...

I live in Azerbaijan and am looking to revamp the water system in my house. The first thing is that I don't have a water meter - probably a good thing as my mother in law pours tonnes of water on the garden in summer, mostly watering weeds as she can't tell the difference from grass. But the...
