Location of boiler acceptable or not

as the tilte says, is the boiler above the ink acceptable or not?

Apparently a customer of mine got told that the boiler can’t be fitted above the sink? She asked me to give her a quote for a replacement of the boiler.

What’s your thoughts?

I don’t think there is a distance for a boiler to sink
The fused spur is probably wrong though

Not me, the customer has asked me. I told her I never heard about that it wrong. So I just wanted to make sure.

It’s a house and the system got converted 10 years ago. I assume she does not want to move the boiler although she mentioned it bothers her that she can smell the plume a little. I’d say the flue is too close to the window it’s less than 300 but bigger than 200mm. Perhaps a plume kit will be necessary or moving the boiler

I haven’t asked her where she smells it but I would assume not through the window. She sits a lot in the garden. I will be back there anyway will see what she wants

It depends how the wind is blowing. If you have strong winds you can have 500mm space to the window it still comes back in. As said I will be back there
