HI everyone,

I am trying to remove a Kohler freestanding bath which is to be refitted later but it is secured at the base with what looks like catches. I have not come across these before and cant figure how to release them so i can lift the bath.

I have taken some pictures as best as i can, hopefully someone on here can educate me on how to release these.

Thanks dripsndrops, that what i thought but given it some welly and cant get it to move. will let you know how it woeks if i get them off today

Probably too late, but to me it looks like it needs pushing on the cranked end of the lever towards the screw fixing.
I'd think the cranked lever has a keyhole in it that latches over a pin in the base plate.

However I would also guess that the location of the floor fixings is critical and if they are slightly out then the bath has probably been forced into position jamming the lever

Thanks snowhead, yes you were right i figured it out when i enlarged the picture on my computer. Easy when you know how. you push the end in fully (some with took a bit of force) which opens up the catch allowing bath to be lifted.
