insurance trace and access

Hi guys. Ive been getting a few calls for trace and access of leaks where a customer has a leak and the insurance company has asked them to pay a plumber to trace and access the leak.
I have been doing these at my usual rate £35.
How much do you guys change / think the insurance company will be willing to pay for this?

I used to do it direct for the handling company insurance usually covered the first £250 of trace and access but I had to remove all debris and photograph and catalogue everything.

The few times I did it direct to the insurance company themselves they gave me up to £1000 budget for the same work

The actual repair was at cost to the policy holder
