I have had combi's in the past with inloet loop and gauge for refilling and topping up. But my new house has a cylinder and no sign of infill loop. No expansion tank in loft either. What sysytem i9s this and how do i refill/top up rads?
 
You could have a primatic cylinder where there is a seperate chamber like a bubble in the cylinder. Can you take a photo for us please?

Thats a thermal store, heating system is filled from the tank on the top of the store.
If you have a problem with the system not refilling it may be the isolation valve to the float valve may be shut off.
Have look at this link for details of a thermal store. (Yours is a direct combination thermal store)

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
