Hi I'm fitting a new heating system right the way through a property before the boiler and last radiator gets fitted I wanted to test the pipework which I've already done.
I have already tested under floor boards etc that was ok
So when I've tested it after fitting all other rads I've lost three quarter of a bar overnight but I can only test it with compressed air as that's all I got.
I have been around all joints checking and nuts on valves but can't find no leak it's driving me potty
Any help on what I can do next as new carpets are being laid today

Water test is always best. Air is inaccurate, heat will affect your reading and you can't see a leak!
Most likely leak will be where your testing from . Pressure gauges are hit and miss too.

For you, now you have done a preliminary test with air, is to connect to water main and test. That will make any leaks show. Or hire a pressure tester.

I Always Air test where possible to check for any immediate leaks, Like an open end or bleed valve open, Did you remove the pump from your test gauge as the air hose will leak air out

Yes removed pump mate.
I just hope it's the gauge that's playing up

re do a test at 1.5 bar for 30 minutes and see if there is any drop, the trouble with air is that it will expand and contract with temp, which is why i only use my air tester as a quick test to confirm no immediate leaks, or on sections of gas pipe that are going to be covered up and there not connected to the meter yet

Just an update tried the gauge on a small piece of copper and guess what I'm losing pressure so I'm hopeful that is the issue and I won't have no leaks when I fill up
