HI all,
finished fitting the above boiler yesterday. Straight swap, side access flue with only the elbow off the boiler.
Gas pressure 21mbars on full chaff. (right by the supply)
when doing the co checked, minimum was as expected- 3ppm, .0.0000, and about 7,8%
Max on the other hand was 240ppm, 9,8% and 0.0022. waited till the next day to check, and the ppm did come down to 210!

on speaking to idea, and saying, "yes, I have checked the flue connection and it is fine, and yes the gas pressure is correct", they said that the CO reading will probably come down, and anyway, the readings are within tolerance and they would probably not come out. I confirmed that they were saying they were happy to let me commission it and they said yes.

Now, I have had this before with Vaillant boilers, and ive gone back the next day and its all settled down, but I found their lack of interest, interesting.

has anyone else had this with them?

Hi, I seemed to have a blockage in kitchen sink. A plumber came and cleared all the pipework that is visible inside my home (there was debris and pebbles!) We saw that the pipe that takes water down the gutter was visibly full to the top. He said he will return with a coil to push through...

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...
