Discuss How to fix power connector to boiler? in the UK Plumbing Forum | Plumbing Advice area at PlumbersForums.net

Hey. Got home from Christmas with family to find boiler isn't working, no lights on anywhere.

Boiler itself is old but ok. There has been a leak from an upstairs flat and the grey square connector in picture is very wet.

Nothing has tripped on main board...I'm guessing either the connector bottom left of pic is damaged or a fuse has blown. Any ideas on what to do?

Also what's the grey connector called?

Thanks in advance

Fuse blown follow cable out of the bottom to either a plug or fused spur and change the 3 amp fuse

Dry the connector out first with a hair dryer

Thanks. Very useful. Have dried it out. The isolator switch that's installed is for a fan... No easily accessible fuse.

But took a closer look at connector and it looks like it's failed.

Do you know what that connector is called?
