Hi all,
I need to run hot and cold feeds to a new building for existing property. The run is about 20m.

Any ideas on what product to use?

Uponor do some lovely products for this but they come in 200m rolls!!!

just use mdpe for the cold. As for the hot you'll want pipe within an insulated duct with ideally a secondary return because hey, lets say 10m run within house for the hot. Another 20m and then to point of use. Thats a ton of lost heat and wasted water without a secondery return ! Not to mention a huge lag.

cant you put a heat source at the other end?

I would prefer to fit a electric shower and water heater, but the custard hates electric showers.
This will run from a combi inside the existing house so i am not sure how to go about plumbing in a secondary return in.

You simply cant have a secondry return, point out just how high their gas and water bill will be from it!

Look at rinnai water heaters. Better option running blue and yellow mdpe my friend...

dont tell me its oil too?

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...
