Hi. I have all the rads in the house controlled with wireless Honeywell TRVs. This was done by an installer about 2 yrs ago. The kitchen TRVs are not working properly. The app says the kitchen is only 5 degrees as per the TRV, but the room is definitely warm and as a result, the rads seem to be on constantly to compensate. I’ve tried recalibrating etc, but to no avail. Any ideas on how to fix as it’s using up our oil.

Remove the trv head and check the valve pin is moving freely push it down there should be movement and spring back up , leave the head off and put the heating on if the radiator heats up ? then the fault is most likely to be either the valve itself or trv head ? have you changed the batteries in the trv head could be a simple fix? . Kop
