Hi guys,

I live in Spain, have a small central.heating circuit but also a fireplace. I wanted to add a heat exchanger in behind the firrplace insert to distribute some of the fireplace heat around.

My question is, when I have the boiler on I know the pump is circulating and there's a pressure relief valve. But say I wanted to circulate water with the boiler off, I know I can add a pump to the circuit no probs, but im thinking about the high pressure protection, can I add a pressure relief valve to the circuit with the pump and that be all I need?

Many thanks

Leo

All i know is you had better increase your buildings insurance cover or get in someone who understands that heat and water make steam, which can and will go pop.

Ooohhhh, you can feel the power, can't you Adam? You can be quite masterful when your roused!

Or so I'm told.

By your PR agency.

Kate just laughed.

"Roused" I understand Adam is now heavily into lubecare, now that he is being mentored by Croppie :)
