There is a pipe for the heating above my sitting room ceiling that seems to be too close to the plasterboard and caused a small hole in the plasterboard about 6 cm in diameter. Is there anyway to repair this without pulling up the carpet and floorboards upstairs?

Thanks

It's a leak in the pipe, and water is liquefying the set plasterboard...nowt else.
P.S. I had to look up how to spell liquefying:)

Duplicate thread? Heat from a pipe won't affect plasterboard.
Plasterboard has a fireproof rating depending on thickness I believe, probably struggle to put a hole in it with blowtorch and map
