The plastic temperature control knob on my Grohe Avensys Classic shower has broken. It's a small piece of chrome-effect plastic this size of a tuppence.
The full assembly, including the replacement part is around £115. This is rather annoying as I only need the smallest part of the assembly.
Can anyone suggest an alternative plumbing item/tap which might fit the end of the thermostatic cartridge? It doesn't need to look nice... just needs to do the job. We'll hopefully be getting the bathroom done next year so it's just a temporary fix I'm after.
