Hi, we have a gravity drainage system. The pipes goes from treatment tanks to the water treatment plant where the water will be treated to achieved regulation.

The system doesnt use any pump, just gravity, but for landscape reasons we have to make an arragenment to the pipe, so at the end is going to be a "U" union arragement. The water will go down in the pieps from tanks, will go down in the "U" pipe shape, and will go up to the water treatment plant entrance.

Tanks treat solids so in the pipes is going to be just water, there shouldnt any problem with this arragement even when is under level the entrance to the water treatment plant right?

It could could be any problem with disolved solids in water??

You'll be clearing blockages every couple of days.

Think about a particular word in the title of this thread.

if the tanks work 100%, there is going to be blockages anyway?

Can I change the title?

i thought all drainage was by gravity until I saw some goundworkers laying drains at a school I worked at, and they had the flow out going up!!!!!!!!!!
