Hi all,

Just returned from a visit to dentist, whom has chewed my ear about her problem with foul smell in her bathroom.
I haven't ssen the job as yet ,c cos her supposid maintenance guy is looking at it for third time. So here goes what i have been told.

Dwelling - new build flats 3 yrs old (lived there 2 months)
Dentist is top floor and has only svp for block ( i think) with AAV in loft space.

Attempts so far by maintenance guy-
changed bath trap for anti -vac
Cleared out AAV (I would probably have replaced, due to extreme conditions last winter, thought maybe AAV failed?)
Tried clearing drain- ?
Flat has :
Main bathroom where the smell is only
en-suite - no smell there

Now i know we get periods of hot weather which can increase the methane gases but i would have thought the traps would have prevented this. I did wonder if a non return vaklve on 40mm waste would cut the smell a bit?

Ideas welcomed

Thanks in advance:)
